Turkey overview

In September 2025, Veterans International supported one of our veterans on a solo journey to Istanbul, Turkey. This restorative trip provided a meaningful opportunity for reflection and renewal as he explored the city’s rich heritage, including the Hagia Sophia, Blue Mosque, Grand Bazaar, and a scenic Bosphorus cruise. The experience combined cultural immersion with personal time for healing and connection to history, particularly through visits linked to Anzac heritage. The veteran returned refreshed, describing the trip as deeply impactful and rejuvenating
